Mentorship | Sister | ED Recovery

I survived anorexia nervosa — a journey that brought me to death's door and through a treatment system that revived my body temporarily, while failing my mind. Relapse after relapse followed, because the root cause was never addressed. Through a lengthy messy battle of recovery, I came to understand something deeply missing in traditional care: the focus is only on stabilising the body, but never on understanding the full human underneath it. That experience forged a singular purpose: to offer the support I never received. And to be offered from someone who has walked that exact path.

Medical intervention saves lives — and I will always unequivocally honour that — but it does not touch the trauma, the nervous system, the co-existing neurological conditions, the internalised beliefs, or the emotional and spiritual wounds driving the illness. Without deeper work, recovery will remain physical and temporary — a cycle of repair rather than true integration, a band-aid fix.

Mentor with Bianca exists to fill that gap.

I work with clients ready to rewrite the narrative they hold about themselves, their bodies, and their capacity to heal. Most predominantly, women navigating eating disorder recovery — most often anorexia nervosa — alongside the layered realities that so often sit beneath it: neurodivergence, trauma, OCD, anxiety, depression, substance use histories, and the lived patterns of masking, self-abandonment, and people-pleasing. This is where we rewire the pathways and build the foundations, treating the mind, body, and spirit as one interconnected system. You were not born criticising your body. This work helps you come home to it again, finally.

Through personalised, holistic one-to-one mentorship — held in cafés, galleries, on walks, wherever you feel safe, in a space and time that feels right for you — I support women as a sister, mentor, and companion. To show you that you are not alone, to hold space for you, and to be a steady pillar of strength and hope.

This is not a protocol. Not a programme. It is a guiding — from someone who has been exactly where you are. My lived experience gives it the depth, knowledge and credibility; my further studies in Massage Therapy and a Master's in Holistic Counselling give the work its rigour.

My own path that led me to the brilliance and health of life today was beyond messy; it included being diagnosed later in life with autism and ADHD — and the profound relief of finally understanding myself through a different lens. It has meant unravelling years of masking, people-pleasing, and rejection sensitivity, understanding trauma and abuse, while also navigating OCD, anxiety, depression, and the complex ways these experiences intertwine. It has included stepping into complete sobriety after 15 years of drug and alcohol addiction — another layer of survival, and another layer of rebuilding who I am without the coping mechanisms that once kept me afloat.

I also hold space for the loved ones walking alongside you — family, partners, parents often left in the dark by systems that rarely explain. Recovery, survival and healing touch everyone, and they deserve to be held too.

I reject the idea that healing is about a number on a scale. Nor is it one-size-fits-all. I meet you where you are. Sister, mentor, listener, advocate — I will walk beside you until you are ready to walk on your own.
