From confusion and helplessness into grounded understanding and presence.
Watching someone you love struggle can feel overwhelming, confusing, and deeply isolating. Many families are left trying to support recovery without truly understanding what an eating disorder, addiction, or complex mental health challenge feels like from the inside. A lot of the time, support on a more personal level and beyond the systemised treatment plan, isn't offered.
These sessions provide a safe space for you, too.
Together we explore practical ways to communicate, respond, set healthy boundaries, and support recovery with greater confidence and compassion. We'll also create space for your own emotions, recognising that caring for someone else can be both deeply meaningful and incredibly difficult.
Sessions may include
• Understanding anorexia nervosa and the psychology beneath the illness
• Learning supportive communication and language
• Navigating meal support and challenging situations
• Understanding co-existing experiences such as neurodivergence, trauma, anxiety, OCD, or substance use
• Guidance for partners, parents, siblings, carers, and close friends
You deserve to feel supported, informed, and held throughout the journey too.
You don't have to figure this out alone, and you don't have to get it perfect.
